Xigduo is an extended-release medication containing Metformin and Dapagliflozin, pharmaceutical agents used to control blood sugar levels in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Dapagliflozin helps reduce the risk of hospitalization due to heart failure in adults with type 2 diabetes, as well as cardiovascular diseases.
Metformin improves the body's sensitivity to insulin, thereby reducing blood sugar levels.

Caustions:

Do not use Dapagliflozin/Metformin if:

-You have experienced diabetic coma.

-You are allergic to Dapagliflozin, Metformin, or any other ingredients of this medication.

-You have liver problems.

-You have had a recent heart attack or if you suffer from heart failure, serious circulatory problems, or respiratory difficulties.

-You have dehydration due to long-term or severe diarrhea or vomiting.

-You are using medications to treat high blood pressure.

-You are using medications to treat pain and inflammation.

-You are using bronchodilators.
