Side Effects:
• Increased weight, fluid retention, headache, migraine, decreased libido, depressed mood, and altered mood.
• Nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea, rash, urticaria, breast pain, breast tenderness, breast hypertrophy, fluid retention, and corneal irritation.
Cautions:
• The reliability of Gracial may be reduced if tablets are forgotten, If the forgotten tablet is taken within 12 hours, no further precautions are necessary, further tablets should be taken at the usual time.
• If one or more tablets are forgotten for more than 12 hours, contraceptive protection will be reduced.
• The patient should take the last forgotten tablet, even if this means taking two tablets in one day, and then continue to take tablets at the normal time.
• Additional contraceptive precautions should be taken for the next seven days, and the patient should follow 'the 7-day rule'.
• The 7-Day rule
- If anyone is forgotten a tablet for more than 12 hours
- If the patient has vomiting or diarrhea for more than 12 hours
- If the patient is taking any of the drugs listed under 'Interactions' like antibiotics.
- The patient should continue to take her tablets as usual and additional contraceptive precautions must be taken for the next 7 days.
- But if these 7 days run beyond the end of the current pack, the next pack must be started as soon as the current one is finished.
Contraindications:
• Venous or arterial thrombotic, thromboembolic events or cerebrovascular accident, thrombosis.
• History of migraine with focal neurological symptoms, DM with vascular involvement, presence of severe or multiple risk factors for veins or arteries.

• Tablets must be taken in the order directed on the package every day at about the same time with some liquid as needed.
• One tablet is to be taken daily for 21 consecutive days.
• Each subsequent pack is started after a 7-day tablet-free interval, during which time a withdrawal bleed usually occurs.
