Rybox tablets contain etoricoxib as the active substance.
Etoricoxib belongs to a class of drugs called selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors.
Selective cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors are non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
It is one of the most important drugs used in cases of severe arthritis and muscles.

Indications:

• Rybox tablets are used to relieve the symptoms associated with rheumatic arthritis, such as pain, stiffness, swelling, and loss of mobility in the affected joints.

• Rybox is used in cases of gout, arthritis, and ankylosing spondylitis.

• It is used in the short-term treatment of moderate pain resulting from dental surgery.

Contraindications:

• Do not take Rybox if you are allergic to etoricoxib.

• Not to be given to persons under 16 years of age.

• Do not take Rybox if you are allergic to non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs such as aspirin or cyclooxygenase-2 inhibitors.

• If you suffer from a stomach ulcer or stomach bleeding.

• If you are planning to become pregnant.

• It is not given to those under 16 years old.

• If you have a previous history of any type of heart disease.

• Consult your doctor before taking Rybox tablets in the following cases, as your doctor may need to adjust the dose or perform some tests first:

• If you suffer from kidney or liver disease.

• If you have a previous history of high blood pressure.

• If you are 65 years of age or older.



Missed dose:

• In case of forgetting the recommended dose of Rybox tablets, avoid doubling the dose.



The side effects:

• Increased or decreased fragility or weight loss.

Tinnitus and vertigo.

Chest pain.

A High level of potassium in the blood.

Drug interactions:

• If you are taking any of the following medications, your doctor may need to perform some tests or adjust the dose:

Contraceptive pills.

- diuretics.

- aspirin.

- Medicines that thin the blood (anticoagulants), such as warfarin.

- Some types of antibiotics, such as rifampicin.

- Salbutamol tablets (for the treatment of asthma).

- Medicines to treat heart failure, such as Digoxin.
