Acyclovir

Acyclovir Cream, 5% is (antivirals) a herpes simplex virus (HSV) deoxy nucleoside analogue DNA polymerase inhibitor.
Zovirax speed up healing of the sores and decrease symptoms.

Indications:
• Herpes Simplex virus infections of the skin including initial and recurrent genital herpes and herpes labialis.

How to store:
keep at room temperature.

Side effects:

• Allergy reaction, for example swelling of the lips, face and eyelids.

• Mild burning or stinging after application.

• Redness, itching or a mild drying or flaking of the skin, skin rashes, hives or weals.



Cautions:

• Hypersensitivity to acyclovir USP, valacyclovir, or any component of the formulation.

• Inside your mouth (e.g. For mouth ulcers) or nose or eyes.

• For any skin infection other than a cold sore.
