Adol 120 mg Suspension contain paracetamol which is An aniline derivative that has analgesic and antipyretic properties.
It blocks central COX-2 enzyme that is required for the prostaglandin formation in the hypothalamus. Thus, this inhibits fever and pain formation.

Point of interest:

• Dose may be repeated every 4- 6 hours, but leave at least 4 hours between doses of Adol suspension.

• Shake well Adol suspension before us.



Side effects of Adol suspension:

• Increase liver enzymes such as aminotransferases, hepatotoxicity.



Interactions of Adol suspension:

• Carbamazepine, phenobarbital and phenytoin: metabolism of paracetamol is possibly accelerated by carbamazepine, phenobarbital and phenytoin.



Indications:

• Analgesic and antipyretic for children.

• Adol Suspension relieve mild to moderate pain including teething pain, reduce fever and relieve discomfort that may occur with infections, especially in case of cold and flu.



How To Store?

Size:

100 ml

Infants 3 months - 1 year: 2.5 - 5 ml.

Children 1-5 years: 5- 10 ml every 8 hours.

The dose of Adol suspension depends on the weight and age of the child. Follow the dose recommended by the doctor.
