Airfast 10mg - 30 Tablets
Airfast Tablet is used to prevent asthma and exercise-induced narrowing of the muscles in the lungs. It is a prescription medicine.
This medicine works by blocking the action of certain chemicals in the lungs. Airfast is also used to relieve seasonal allergies such as irritation in the eyes, a runny nose, and a sore throat.
This medicine works by preventing the release of certain substances which are responsible for allergic conditions.

Side Effects:

• Stomach pain, diarrhea.

• Fever or other flu symptoms.

• Ear pain or full feeling, trouble hearing.

• Headache.

• Cold symptoms such as runny or stuffy nose, sinus pain, cough, sore throat.



Cautions:

• FDA warning: Serious behavior or mood changes: Some examples include depression, aggressive behavior, hallucinations, memory problems.

• Montelukast oral tablets should only be used when the benefits of treatment outweigh the risks of serious behavior or mood changes.

• If you notice changes in your behavior or mood while taking montelukast oral tablets, call your doctor right away.



Interactions:

• Antihistamines.

• Nasal decongestants.

• Nasal or Inhaled corticosteroids.

• Nasal sprays.





Indications:

• Uses to control and prevent symptoms caused by asthma (such as wheezing and shortness of breath)

• It is also used before exercise to prevent breathing problems during exercise (bronchospasm)

• This medication helps to decrease the number of times that you need to use your quick-relief inhaler

• It is also used to relieve symptoms of hay fever and allergic rhinitis (such as sneezing, stuffy/runny/itchy nose)
