Cerazette film- coated tablets contain Desogestrel, a form of progesterone that is used as a contraceptive.
Cerazette is known as a hormonal contraceptive that belongs to single or simple contraceptives that do not contain estrogen in their composition.
The tablets work to prevent pregnancy by inhibiting ovulation, increasing the thickness of vaginal secretions, and preventing the implantation of the egg in the uterine lining.
These pills are especially used by women who should not take birth control pills containing estrogen due to the risks associated with it.

• Warnings and precautions:
