Dimenhydrinate competitively blocks H1 receptors, thereby preventing the actions of histamine on bronchial smooth muscle, capillaries and gastrointestinal (GI) smooth muscle. This prevents histamine-induced bronchoconstriction, vasodilation, increased capillary permeability, GI smooth muscle spasm.

Indications:
• Nausea
• Vomiting
• Dizziness caused by motion sickness

How to store:
keep at room temperature.

Side effects:

• Drowsiness

• Excitement or hyperactivity (especially in children)

•New or worsening dizziness

• Blurred vision

• Ringing in the ears

• Dry mouth, nose, or throat



Cautions:

• High blood pressure

•Peptic ulcer

•Blockage of the urinary bladder.

• Enlarged prostate.

•Overactive thyroid gland

• Glaucoma

• Chronic idiopathic constipation
