Eucerin Aquaphor Soothing Skin Balm 45 ml

A water-free ointment from Eucerin for dry to very dry, cracked or irritated skin. It forms a semi-occlusive protective barrier that helps protect the skin while allowing water vapour and oxygen exchange. Glycerin and Panthenol help moisturise the skin and support skin regeneration. Eucerin describes the formula as clinically and dermatologically proven to repair very dry, cracked and irritated skin.

Key ingredients

  • Panthenol - helps support skin regeneration and repair and also provides moisturising benefits.
  • Glycerin - attracts and retains water in the skin to help support the skin barrier.
  • Bisabolol - a soothing ingredient used in the formula.
  • Ointment base - Paraffinum Liquidum, Cera Microcristallina, Ceresin and Lanolin Alcohol. The complete formula contains seven ingredients.

Where it is used

  • Very dry or cracked areas on the face and body.
  • Chapped, rough or split skin on areas such as the hands, feet, lips and elbows.
  • Baby skin, including dry areas on the face and nappy area.
  • Skin after superficial dermatological procedures such as laser treatment or chemical peels, once the skin has re-epithelialized/closed.
  • Superficial first-degree burns over small areas, provided the skin is not open or bleeding.

How to use

  • Apply as often as needed to the affected areas.
  • Massage gently with the fingertips; the ointment spreads more easily as it warms to skin temperature.
  • A fingertip amount can be used for both hands; a little more may be used for each foot.
  • Do not apply to open, bleeding or wet wounds. Wait until the skin has closed.

Fragrance-free and preservative-free. Eucerin states that the product is non-comedogenic and free of microplastics as defined by UNEP. The formula contains Lanolin Alcohol. This SKU contains 45 ml.

* A small fingertip of product is normally enough for both your hands. A medium fingertip of product is about right for problem areas on baby’s skin and a slightly larger amount is ideal for each of your feet.

* Massage into your skin using your fingertips. The ointment spreads easily as it warms.

* Do not use on open, bleeding or wet wounds. Wait until skin has re-epithelialized before using the product.
