Ganaton tablets contain Itopride Hydrochloride.
Itopride Hydrochloride is a Prokinetic benzamide derivative that inhibits the dopamine D2 receptors and thus increasing the acetylcholine concentrations and also having a gastrokinetic effect. Increasing the Acetylcholine will increase the gastric peristalsis and accelerates the gastric emptying.

Side effects of Ganaton:

• Abdominal Pain.

• Diarrhoea.

• Increased Salivation.

• Headache.



Cautions:

• May not be indicated for those suffering from Parkinson’s disease or other conditions involving dopamine regulation issues.

• It should used Ganaton tablets with special caution in the young and the elderly.



Interactions of Ganaton tablets:

• Anticholinergic Drugs: Tiquizium bromide, scopolamine butyl bromide, timepidium promide: There is a possibility of reducing the action of this product that activated gastrointestinal motility.



Indications:

Ganaton tablets used for:

• Gastrointestinal symptoms in chronic gastritis.

• Bloated feeling, upper abdominal pain, anorexia, heartburn, nausea and vomiting.

Take one tablet of Ganaton tablets 3 times daily.
