Imodium Instant is a fast effect for relieving the symptoms and treating acute diarrhea in less than one hour. 
the main active ingredient for this medicine is loperamide hydrochloride which helps reduce diarrhea by slowing down an overactive bowel, which helps the body to absorb water and salts from the bowel.
IMODIUM Instants should be used in conjunction with oral rehydration therapy which replaces fluids and salts lost during diarrhea.

Side effects:

• Constipation

• Flatulence

• Headache

• Nausea



Cautions:

• Hypersensitivity to the active substance or any of the excipients

• Children less than 12 years of age.

• Acute dysentery, which is characterized by blood in stools and high fever.

• Acute ulcerative colitis.

• Bacterial enterocolitis is caused by invasive organisms including Salmonella, Shigella, and Campylobacter.

• Pseudomembranous colitis associated with the use of broad-spectrum antibiotics.



Indications:

• Acute diarrhea in adults and children aged 12 years and over

• Acute episodes of diarrhea associated with Irritable Bowel Syndrome in adults aged 18 years and over following initial diagnosis by a doctor
