Diclofenac sodium


Diclofenac sodium is non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID). It works by reducing hormones that cause inflammation and pain in the body.

Side effects:

gastrointestinal disturbances include anorexia, nausea, dyspepsia, abdominal pain, and diarrhea.



Cautions:

• severe kidney or liver disease or severe heart failure.

• Do not take Voltfast after the expiry date (EXP) printed on the pack.

• Voltfast is not recommended for use in children below 14 years of age.



Interactions:

• aspirin, salicylates, ibuprofen, or other NSAID medicines

• warfarin

• digoxin

• lithium

• diuretics

• methotrexate

• cyclosporin & tacrolimius

• trimethoprim

• quinolones

• ACE inhibitors or beta-blockers

• corticosteroids

• Sulfinpyrazone



Indication

For relief of the signs and symptoms of osteoarthritis , For relief of the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis & For acute or long-term use in the relief of signs and symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis

How To Store?
