Avodart side effects:

Avodart may cause:

• Decreased libido.

• Difficulty with ejaculation.

• Decrease in the amount of semen released during sex.

• Breast enlargement.



Warnings and cautions:

• Tell the doctor or pharmacist if you are allergic to the active ingredient or any other medications before using Avodart.

• Do not take Avodart if you have severe liver disease.

• Avodart is for men only, Avodart must not be taken by women, children, or adolescents.

• Use a condom during sexual intercourse.



Interactions:

Tell the doctor if you are taking these medications or any other medications before using Avodart:

• Verapamil or diltiazem (for high blood pressure).

• Ritonavir or indinavir (for HIV).

• Itraconazole or ketoconazole (for fungal infections).

• Nefazodone (an antidepressant).

• Alpha- blockers (for enlarged prostate or high blood pressure).
