Dicynone tablets contain Etamsylate.
An anti-bleeding drug that works by increasing the resistance in the lining of the capillaries, which reduces blood flow,

How to use Dicynone capsules:

Before undergoing surgery: 250 to 500 mg one hour before the operation.

Postoperatively: 250 to 500 mg every 4 to 6 hours for as long as bleeding is suspected.

The usual adult dose is 500 mg: 1 capsule 2 to 3 times per day, duration depending on the case.

Menorrhagia or uterine bleeding: 1 capsule 3 times a day, starting 5 days before the expected time of menstruation, and the treatment period lasts 10 days.
