Jentadueto tablets are used to treat patients with type 2 diabetes.
These tablets contain two active ingredients, Metformin from the group of Biguanides and Linagliptin from the group of DPP- 4 inhibitors (Dipeptidyl Peptidase- 4 inhibitors).
These ingredients work together to balance blood sugar levels and control insulin secretion after meals.
By doing so, they can effectively delay and prevent complications such as kidney failure and blindness.

• Warnings and precautions:

- The medicine is not used with blood- sugar- lowering medications from the sulfonylurea group, as they together cause an attack of low blood sugar.

- The medicine is not used in patients who suffer from heart problems or kidney or liver problems.

- It is not given to patients with lactic acidosis.

- It is not given to patients with pancreatitis.

- It is not given to pregnant women.

- If you experience a low blood sugar attack, eat quick sources of sugar such as fruit juice and raisins.

- Keep out of the reach of the children.
